Calciject 40 (Box of 12)

Calciject is a clear pale solution for injection containing Calcium Borogluconate 400mg/ml (equivalent to 29.6mg/ml Calcium and 68mg/ml Boric Acid). Calciject is  for the treatment of hypocalcaemia.

Contraindications/Warnings

The solution should be warmed to body temperature before administration.

Intravenous injections should be given slowly and stopped on the first signs of adverse reaction. Rapid intravenous injection may result in cardiac arrhythmias and in severely toxaemic animal collapse and death.

As intravenous administration of this product could cause death this route should only be used by a veterinary surgeon.
